Aven Hospitality and HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) bring Cancel for Any Reason to hotel partners globally

Aven now offers hoteliers access to HTS’ Cancel for Any Reason solution on the Aven Booking Engine, giving guests the flexibility to cancel before check-in and receive up to a full refund of their room cost — for any reason, no questions asked. 

Today, HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions), a leading global travel technology platform, launched its Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) flexible payment solution with Aven Hospitality, which is now accessible to global hoteliers using Aven’s Booking Engine.

Following the partnership announcement earlier this year, the integration is now live, giving Aven Booking Engine customers a turnkey way to offer guests true cancellation flexibility – helping convert more shoppers into bookers and build long-term brand loyalty, with no additional work required from hotel teams to enable or manage the offering.

Flexibility has become table stakes for hotel bookers. In fact, new data from HTS* shows that 87% of travelers rate the ability to cancel a hotel booking as important, and 62% say they would be likely to add a Cancel for Any Reason option if offered at checkout. With this new integration, hotels around the world using Aven’s Booking Engine can meet that demand instantly, without altering existing rates, cancellation policies or tech stacks.

Once enabled through Aven's Booking Engine, CFAR appears as an optional add-on immediately after room selection, providing guests with the option to cancel their stay before check-in and receive up to 100% of their room cost back, for any reason – via the hotel’s website or their confirmation email. HTS handles the entire process automatically: cancelling the reservation in the PMS, refunding the guest to their original payment method, and freeing the room to be resold in real time.
