A New Milestone in Our Partnership with Capital One

In 2021, Capital One took a bold step in becoming our first B2B partner. At the time, Hopper was known as a popular consumer travel app, but they had a clear vision for the new Capital One Travel portal and understood how our best-in-class technology could pair with their customer-first, digital approach to build something truly differentiated.

We’re so proud of what our teams built together as Capital One Travel has become one of the most successful credit card travel portals in the industry, earning top industry recognition and setting a new benchmark for innovation in bank-led travel.

Since launch, booking volumes on Capital One Travel have grown more than tenfold, and the platform has become central to how millions of customers plan and book travel. That growth reflects Capital One’s long-term commitment to the category and helped shape Hopper’s evolution as a company.

Today, B2B is the core of our business. HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) now powers billions of dollars in travel and travel fintech annually across more than 20 partner channels globally. What started with Capital One has evolved into a global travel commerce platform trusted by banks, airlines, and travel providers worldwide.

As Capital One continues to invest in travel as a defining part of its customer experience, we’re evolving our relationship to support the next phase of growth. Capital One will bring the travel portal in-house as it scales, and some of our team members who have long supported Capital One Travel will transition to ensure continuity.

Just as importantly, we will continue working together. We are maintaining a commercial relationship focused on delivering our unique HTS features, such as Cancel For Any Reason for flights and hotels, and Flight Disruption Assistance, to Capital One customers. This milestone is a testament to the strength of what we’ve built together and the scale of the opportunity ahead.
